Garden Design
We can design the garden giving just a standard ink drawing or a full colour design. If required we can supply a planting plan.
We have the ability to incorporate aspects of either Zen or Feng Shui with in an existing garden or as a complete and total design.
We are happy to supply just a garden design service allowing you to use local contractors.
Incorporated in the design of spiritual, sensory, meditation and healing gardens we will balance the energies and realign the natural flow within the garden. We would be aware of geopathic stress within the garden and as a result we would be able to balance the negative aspect this would cause, as part of the design process allowing this aspect to be completed prior to local contractors constructing the garden. If required once constructed we will come back adjust and rebalance the garden energies.
Meditation

This design is a secret meditation garden combining a secluded area with a water
feature to aid in relaxation and an arbour over the seating area to give that
shaded and peaceful touch. The entrance is through the gap in the hedge and
is totally enclosed for privacy.
Spiritual Garden

Designed for this garden revolved around various desires expressed by our client,
including hiding the pond filter and incorporating curves as well as reducing the
patio area and providing an area to sit for quiet reflection. The planting was
to give a balanced feel to the garden and increase the positive energies.

The feel of this garden encompasses all the clients’ requirements, the pond for wild life,
formal lawn area, a lime tree avenue from the decking to the seating area in the corner, wild
flower areas and a summer house in a wooded corner with walkways leading through shrubberies
to the next vantage point of the garden

This garden is on a steep slope down to a river with a wildlife area on the other side. The
river runs over a weir just a few yards further on creating a lovely relaxing sound. The patio
leads down to the level lawn steps lead you down to the path on the next level. The border to
the lft of the path follows the natural contours of the ground to the rivers edge. The border
to the right of the path is terraced to allow a practical environment for maintenance. The next
set of steps take you to the final level which leads you to the decking area where you can sit
and enjoy the natural beauty of the river, and the kingfishers are a joy to watch.
Architectural Change

The design for the front of this pub was to be eye catching but
was also to blend in with the original stone front of the building.
The soil area between the crazy paving to be planted with camomile,
the other plants used were chosen for their architectural
appearance. The design was changed during construction to allow for
the planting along the pub wall and the end of the paving area, this
was done to soften the effect and to sympathetically blend the area into
the front of the building.
Designed for the Senses

Designed to meet the specific requirements of a residential nursing
home, the garden conceptual design uses plants for colour, energy and
to aid and relax the senses. To add texture the design incorporated the use of
tactile hard landscaping materials.
The borders were planted using plants/shrubs/trees with healing qualities.

This design was done for a nursing home providing wide paths and access for both
wheel chairs and client with walking frames. Raised beds for ease of maintenance
and two seating areas for social events one to be covered by a pergola to give shade
when required, around the out side of the paving are additional seating areas.
Spiritual Vistas

The design brief included a number of specific requirements from the client:
- Differing seating areas
- A Large Pond
- An Orchard
- An Arbour
and Areas where maximum advantage could be made of the views over the open countryside beyond.
